Christmas Parades
Mark your Calendars! Olive Branch Parade is December 7th and Hernando
Parade is December 8th
Float Decoration
2 PM this Sunday - Meet at Janice Sluder’s house (directions
below) for two reasons:
1. Choreography lessons taught by Robin so we can have a cute routine
for the float, etc….
2. Work on Float (Chelle has boards, paint, beads and the cardboard
crown should be ready) Bring supplies!! Glitter – school glue
– foil – spray adhesive- old newspaper – etc…
Lebonheur
Toy Run
Dec 6th is the Lebonheur Toy Run. Bring an unwrapped Toy or drop
them off at the designated area at Holliday Crossing on Hacks Cross
Road. It was discussed that we meet in front of Lebonheur at 11:30
AM – But Malisa will email specific details.
Capes
Butterick Pattern #3185. You may want to get yours made before the
Christmas Parades.
Sunrise
Girls Christmas Party
We discussed giving the Girls a Christmas Party at Tiz Ann’s
with Karaoke. Robin will get a wish list from them and see what
day they will be available. It’s important we visit the Girls
home every Tuesday!! If you have not already done so, turn your
paper work in to Desoto Sunrise or take them by Tiz Ann’s.
New
Years Eve Party
with guest appearance of the Desoto Queens!
Suggestion brought up, and will be discussed further at the next
meeting.
Mardigras
Ball
The Desoto Queens discussed hosting a Mardigras Ball around the
21st of February-Chelle will take the lead on this one. Discussions
and planning will resume.
St.
Patrick's Day Parade in Jackson, Mississippi – No discussion
We need to start getting our plans & committees together –
