New
Fittin' Room Message Board! |
|
|
The
Scarlett Darlin's have a message board fit for a queen called
"The
Fittin' Room".
We encourage
other SPQ Chapters and all Wannabees to register and chat
with us in our new room. And...we cannot stress this enough...we
highly encourage anyone who would like to become a Beau to
join! |

Who
are the Scarlett Darlin's? |
|
|
We're
just a group of women from Desoto County, Mississippi who
believe we deserve a crown as much as any beauty pageant winner
only we aren't going to lower ourselves to grovel in front
of a bunch of judges for it. We don our red wigs and tiaras
and dress up in scarlet red, leopard print and black feathers
all in the name of our adopted cause, Desoto
Sunrise Homes.
Each and
every one of us queens as well as the thousands of other queens
in the 3,000 plus chapters worldwide travel to Jackson, Mississippi
(the birthplace of The Sweet Potato Queens) every St. Patrick's
day to participate in the big St. Paddy's Day Parade. There,
we party like mad and pay our respects to the BOSS QUEEN,
Jill Connor Browne, creator of The
Sweet Potato Queens worldwide organization and
author. |
